[Music] Punk punk punk punk...

Went to a show last night with a great friend from high school. We saw Fireflight, Esterlyn and Stellar Kart. Of all of them, Stellar Kart was probably the best, but it was their show and they've just released their third album, so they've done this for a while. Stellar Kart is also the punk band, and worked the crowd so well. Punk is addicting -- but so then again is all music. So I've written this little punk fragment to use someday.

I figured that being as popular as I am, I should create my own banner people can put on their sites. So here is the beginnings. Yes, I'm quite aware that leaving it blank like this gives people like Geoff license to mutilate, but oh well.

Ok, so I whip this piece out. Loosely based on a Nevermore riff. This thing should kick donkey's sack. It doesn't really.

Maybe I put too little credit on the singer's ability to create a mood. Maybe it IS the crappy drums. Help!!!

I try to get some aggression out on the guitar. I record it. When I listen to it, it's just wimpy and not good. Can you all please give me feedback on this thing? What am I missing? I want balls-in-your-face raw and nasty. I know the drums suck... but is the whole idea and riff bad?

Just frustrated, and it didn't help get my aggression out, just mounted it up more.
